Install your app — step by step
Your app and your dashboard each install to your phone's home screen like real apps. They work full-screen, with their own icons. Here's how, plus what to do if an install ever misbehaves.
Before you start (important): open the link in your phone's real browser — Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone. If you opened it inside another app (WhatsApp, an email app, a chat), the install option will not appear there. Copy the link, open your browser, paste it in the address bar.
1. Android — install your app or dashboard
- Open the link you were given (for example your app link) in Chrome.
- Log in if the page asks you to.
- Look for the Install button on the page (a small pill button) and tap it — or tap the three dots ⋮ at the top right of Chrome, then tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Confirm. The icon appears on your home screen. Tap it any time — it opens full-screen like a real app.
2. iPhone — add your app to the home screen
- Open the link in Safari (not inside WhatsApp or another app).
- Log in if the page asks you to.
- Tap the Share button at the bottom — the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Give it a name (it's already filled in) and tap Add. Done.
3. Getting the second app (dashboard)
Your app (for your audience) and your dashboard (for you) are two separate installs with two separate icons. Repeat the same steps above using your dashboard link. Tip: install while logged in — the app then opens straight to your content.
4. If it says "Already installed" but tapping it says "App not found"
This is a known glitch: your phone kept a broken install record. Fix it in about a minute:
- Long-press the broken icon on your home screen → tap Remove or Uninstall.
- Open Chrome → tap ⋮ → Settings → Site settings → All sites → find the site (e.g.
dev.cjbestinvestments.com) → tap Clear & reset.
- Go back to the browser, open the link again, log in, and install again (step 1 above). It installs clean this time.
If it still misbehaves after this, tell your CJ BEST contact which phone you have (e.g. Samsung A14, iPhone 12) and what the message says — they can re-issue the install from the server side.
5. Quick answers
- Is it from the app store? No — it's a web app that installs directly. No store account needed, always up to date.
- Does it need internet? Your app opens and shows its content; some parts keep working briefly offline and sync when you're back online.
- Two icons with similar names? One is your public app, one is your owner dashboard. Keep both.
- Removed it by mistake? Just install again from the same link — nothing is lost.
